Benene På Nakken is the quintessential Æblerov cider, and where it all started for us. The name is an homage to childhood memories of scrumping apples and having to make a run for it, when your angry neighbor caught you red-handed.
Since 2014, this has been our signature cider focusing on the best Nordic eating apples we can source each year. Vinous, acidic, and very drinkable; this is the taste of next-gen Nordic cider.
The Fruit
70% different indigenous eating apples (Cox, Aroma, and other varieties), 20% cider apples & 10% pears (Conference & Concorde).
All fruit is certified organic.
Process
Direct-pressed apples, fermented with wild yeast. Zero additives. Disgorged.
