Frankofil is our homage to the classic oxidative French cider tradition. While the French excel in cider-making, we put our own twist on this style by infusing it with Nordic freshness and acidity.
French cider apple varieties lend a pleasant amount of brett, offering delicious notes of soil, hay, and farmhouse character. The addition of Nordic apples not only enhances the elegance and acidity but also contributes to a lighter and more drinkable profile, creating our personal love letter to the French cider tradition. The Fruit
50% different indigenous eating apples (Cox, Aroma, and other varieties) & 50% mixed cider apples.
All fruit is certified organic and grown locally.
Process
Direct-pressed apples, fermented with wild yeast. Zero additives.
